- . Choose the Line option, by going to Geometry->Create->Straight line or by going to the GiD Toolbar1.
- . Enter the coordinates of the beginning and end points of the auxiliary line2. For this example, the coordinates are (0,0) and (55,0), respectively. Besides creating a straight line, this operation implies creating the end points of the line.
- . Press ESC 3to indicate that the process of creating the line is finished. Press ESC again to end the line creation function.
- . If the entire line does not appear on the screen, use the Zoom Frame option, which is located in the GiD toolbar and in Zoom in the mouse menu.
NOTE: The Undo option, located in Utilities->Undo, enables you to undo the most recent operations. When this option is selected, a window appears in which all last operation. Utilities->Undo Multiple is similar but open a window in which the operations to be undone can be selected.
