How to register GiD with USB licence

Once you have purchased a GiD USB licence, you need to register a USB stick in order to use GiD Professional.

NOTE: We do not provide the USB stick, you can use almost any USB stick in the market: USB memory sticks valid to register GiD

First, lets find your licence. Navigate to:

https://licence.gidsimulation.com/View/UserLicence

There, you can click on Get password. You will see the following form:

You are required to get the Machine name and Sysinfo. You can learn how to obtain it using this link:

Where can I find the SYSINFO and Machinename

Just make sure you have connected the USB that you want to register, and installed the GiD version according to your licence. Use the menú Help > Register GiD > USB

When you submit the form in the website with the Machine name and Sysinfo obtained from GiD, you’ll get a password:

Just paste this password into GiD to register the USB. Now you can connect this pendrive to any computer with GiD installed and use the professional version.
