Procserver setup

Once Procserver is installed and there are the necessary problemtypes also installed (see section Installing problemtypes), it is necessary to make it active before beginning a remote analysis. Several options are possible:

• Execute the program Procserver and leave it running. Note that is does not have any graphical user interface.
• On Windows, the installer set the program procserverd.exe to be started/stopped as a Windows service.
• On Linux the installer set the program procserverd to be started/stopped as a UNIX daemon.

Then, every time the computer is restarted the program is automatically run.
