What's new 17.1.1d


General:

  • New feature to draw terrain images as 3D (View->Background image->Create projected on mesh).
  • Security issues set memory security configurations for Address Space Layout Randomisation (ASLR) and Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for all .exe and .dll files.
  • Run simulation:  command.exe is not required now to start the process.
  • zip/unzip done without external process.

Preprocess:

  • Import XYZ file as points or nodes not allow also coordinates separated by comma instead of spaces.
  • Join volumes, allow multiple creation.
  • Fixed bug Cartesian mesh calculating grid with variable spacing.

Postprocess:

  • corrected performance when nodes numbering is scattered with holes for big meshes and lots of sets.
  • corrected crash when there are orphan nodes from pre-process.

Customization:

  • GiD_Project db save background_image <filename>

  • GiD_Info Project Quadratic corrected.
  • Several Tcl packages updated.
