Adding licences with passerver-conf
After the installation, it's needed to add to the server the passwords to be provided for GiD or problemtypes.
Contact gid@cimne.upc.edu to get valid passwords for your 'sysinfo'.
The 'sysinfo' is a code that identifies your machine. NOTE: The passwords are only valid to be served from this specific machine and port (default 7073)
The server can have a limited number of floating passwords for each available program and version.
passerver-conf is the administrator of PasServer. Using this program a password for GiD can be added using the button Add program...
Your dealer can provide this program data inside a file. Can fill in the required information by selecting this file (clicking the upper-left folder button).
(or the appropriate lines to the server file '/config/programs.pass' can also be added)
Note: to run this program you need to have administrator provileges
Note: in linux you'll need to enable the graphics for sudo programs:
xhost + sudo ./passerver-conf
Note: with CentOS Stream OS you'll need to install the library XScreenSaver:
sudo yum install libXScrnSaver
