Catalina & Monterey

Double click on the installer, then the following window will appear.

In the same window drag the GiD icon into the Applications folder

Next, click the Launchpad icon. The first image is for macOS Catalina system and the second image is for macOS Monterey system.

If the following message appears, click on the Cancel button.

Next, click on the Finder icon and look for the GiD inside Applications folder.

Right click on the application, the following menu will appear and click the Open option.

The first time the 'Open' entry may not appear. If so, do <Shift>+Right-click .

The following message will appear. Now the Open button appears, click on it and the application will open

This only has to be done the first time, then clicking on the application icon will open it directly.
