What is a Windows service
A service is a console application that runs in the background and performs tasks that doesn't require user interaction.
The installed service can be configured through the Control Panel of Windows.
The service is configured to start automatically when the operating system starts, so you don't have to start each of them manually after a system reboot.
It is also possible to start/stop the service from the "Task manager", clicking the contextual menu.
